SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Investor Relations will report directly to the VP, Investor Relations. This role supports the Company’s investor relations activities including establishing and managing relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional investors and developing investor communication materials that articulate the Company’s strategy, financial performance and opportunity for long-term value creation. This role interacts frequently with a broad group of individuals throughout the organization including Ryder senior corporate and operational management, and individuals in financial planning, accounting, corporate communications and legal.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Serve as investment community liaison by participating in investor conferences and non-deal roadshows with CEO and CFO; support VP-IR in responding to analyst and investor inquiries
• Support investor communication strategy through development of quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations and annual report; coordinate earnings call process
• Responsible for investor website content development and systems enhancement
• Proactively monitor market trends, peer businesses and other factors that may impact investor interest/stock movement; summarize analyst research reports and share insights with management; prepare board of director updates

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance required
• Master's degree MBA preferred.
• CPA, or equivalent work experience in Investor Relations or Securities

EXPERIENCE
• 7+ years of Finance experience

SKILLS
• Excellent communications skills, including oral, written and presentation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and investment community
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and investment community
• Knowledge of capital markets
• Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Word

LICENSES
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

JOB SUMMARY

Candidate will contribute to the development of analytics and materials (reports, presentations, etc.) required to support Nabors Investor Relations and Corporate Development efforts. Also, will work closely with the VP and the Director of Corporate Development and Investor Relations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

INVESTOR RELATIONS:
• Contribute to the development of materials supporting quarterly earnings press releases and conference call
• Collect and analyze business unit financial and operational data for investor presentations
• Develop presentation slideshows for investor conferences and meetings
• Assist in preparation of investor presentations and meetings
• Analyze individual business unit performance and conduct peer company comparisons
• Maintain current market intelligence
• Track and analyze macro market data and assess operating activity ramifications
• Prepare materials for quarterly Board of Directors meetings

CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT:
• Perform the evaluation, analysis, and deal process on large and strategic acquisitions
• Assist business unit management with the evaluation, analysis, and process on smaller, bolt-on acquisitions
• Perform the analysis and deal process on divestitures and other strategic asset monetization
• Provide analytical support for the strategic assessment of current and potential new business lines
• Provide analytical support for the forecasting of business unit results
• Assist business units when needed on large, complex, and sophisticated projects
• Recognize growth opportunities and potential new markets

OTHER:
• Conduct special projects for the Vice President at both the corporate and business unit level
• Learn the operating and strategic fundamentals of all of the company’s diversified service lines

Job overview and responsibilities

Serve as a secondary contact for the investment community, including current and potential shareholders, bondholders, lenders, and analysts, and serve as a subject matter expert on investor relations activities and competitive analysis. The position is a key advisor to senior officers and serves as a key representative and spokesperson of the company
• Primarily responsible for maintaining three-statement model for airline competitors. Manager will lead analyses on competitive industry information and competitor strategy, including competitor conference calls, related analyst reports and SEC filings.
• Act as an internal consultant to senior management by analyzing and advising on competitive industry information and trends, as well as produce monthly reporting of relative financial results and outlooks.
• Produce and manage communications materials for use with investment community and financial media, including quarterly earnings announcements, press releases, conference call scripts and Q & A's, letters to shareholders, investor kits and supporting collateral materials.
• Earnings Release materials including earnings releases, investor updates, internal communications materials and investor presentations.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• 2 years+ of Financial Planning and Analysis or related experience
• Strong understanding of financial statements: Income statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows
• Proficient in excel, specifically financial modeling
• Detail Oriented
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
